Why OSSA exists

OSSA started during a year I spent mostly bedridden with IBD. Frustrated and determined, I went deep — reviewing more than 250 ingredients in search of a genuinely clean protein I felt good about drinking every day.

That search became an obsession with quality: choosing highly digestible proteins with the best amino (PDCAAS) scores, and refusing anything that didn't earn its place — no added sugar, no polyols, no fillers.

OSSA is the result. A small, considered range, made to a rigorous standard in the UK, for people who care about what they put in their body and want protein that supports their gut health.

A group of fermentable carbohydrates that some people find harder to digest. A low-FODMAP approach simply limits them.

What we leave out

The Pea + Brown Rice Blend is suitable for vegans. The Egg White Protein Blend contains egg, so it's dairy-free but not vegan.

There's no added sugar and no polyol sweeteners such as erythritol or xylitol. We use a small amount of monk fruit extract for a naturally rounded taste.

We openly show the hero ingredients and the key nutrition for each product. A few final formulation details are kept private to protect our recipes, but everything is clean-label.
